Citizen Talks
ICHA2025 has organised two talks open to the local community. This event will raise awareness of harmful algal blooms and the scientific research that is applied to their study, as well as providing an opportunity to share with the scientific community.
Presentations will be given by Dr Vítor Vasconcelos, from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Porto, and Dr Óscar Espinoza, Director of the Centre for Harmful Algae Research (CREAN), IFOP.
This event is open to the public and will take place on Monday 23 October at 19:30 at the Sociedad de Instrucción Popular de Magallanes, located at Av. Colón 956, Punta Arenas.
