Citizen Talks
ICHA2025 has organised two talks open to the local community. This event will raise awareness of harmful algal blooms and the scientific research that is applied to their study, as well as providing an opportunity to share with the scientific community.
Presentations will be given by Dr Vítor Vasconcelos, from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Porto, and Dr Óscar Espinoza, Director of the Centre for Harmful Algae Research (CREAN), IFOP.
This event is open to the public and will take place on Monday 20th October starting at 19:30 at Hotel Dreams, Punta Arenas; Room Faro San Isidro.
